Y P Singh, advocate and former IPS officer, said that since
investigations had been on for about 15 months, the CBI had ample time to file
the Adarsh chargesheet. Singh, who is representing the petitioner in the
separate Adarsh PIL, said, "Such a thing probably happend because of
political pressure as two Union ministers are also being investgated. It is
more than apparent that in such situations officers become helpless despite
diligent investigation."
